Draft notice
Working draft — pending UK solicitor review before production use.
Our draft status
This document is a working draft. It has not yet been reviewed by a qualified UK solicitor. It reflects our current practices and intent, but specific clauses may change once a formal legal review is complete. Nothing here overrides your statutory rights under UK law. If you have a concern, email support@mycura.co.uk and we will respond within 5 business days.
1. About these terms
These are the terms under which Cura Health ("Cura", "we", "us") provides the service at mycura.co.uk ("the Service"). By creating an account or making a purchase, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, don't use the Service.
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Disputes will be resolved in the courts of England and Wales, subject to your statutory consumer rights under UK law.
2. Who can use Cura
- You must be 18 years or older.
- You must be a UK mainland resident at launch. We'll expand to Northern Ireland, the Scottish Highlands and Islands, and the Channel Islands shortly after; EU and US shipping are post-launch.
- Your account is for your own use. Don't share credentials or use the Service on someone else's behalf without their explicit consent.
3. Medical disclaimer — read this
Cura is not a medical service and does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Our protocol recommendations are evidence-based supplement guidance designed to complement — not replace — a conversation with your GP, pharmacist, or prescriber.
You should not use Cura:
- To diagnose a medical condition.
- As a substitute for professional medical advice.
- To stop, start, or change a prescribed medication.
- To manage an acute medical situation.
If you're experiencing symptoms that warrant professional attention, contact your GP, NHS 111, or emergency services — not Cura.
If you have a diagnosed condition, take prescription medication, are pregnant or breastfeeding, or otherwise fall into a higher-risk group, review any Cura protocol with your prescriber before starting. Your protocol page is designed to be clinician-readable for exactly this purpose.
4. The Service
Cura builds evidence-based supplement protocols personalised to your intake inputs, and ships recommended products directly to you. The Service has three main components:
- Intake and protocol building — you answer questions, we generate a protocol of 1–3 supplements tailored to your goals and profile.
- Subscription shipping — on approval, your protocol ships every 60 days in a branded box.
- One-off compound purchases — you can buy individual vetted SKUs from compound pages without subscribing. These ship in a plain box.
5. Accounts and authentication
You sign up via Google OAuth or email + password. You are responsible for:
- Keeping your password confidential.
- Notifying us immediately if you suspect unauthorised use of your account.
- Ensuring the information you provide (goals, conditions, medications, allergies, shipping address) is accurate and kept up to date.
We're not liable for losses resulting from you sharing your password or failing to keep your intake information current.
6. Orders, pricing, and payment
- Subscription pricing is set per-protocol and shown at checkout. The price of your protocol can change if the stack changes (e.g. a review adds a compound, or you swap a SKU). We don't silently raise baseline SKU prices; if supplier costs shift materially, you'll get an email before the next charge explaining what's changing.
- VAT where applicable is included in the displayed price.
- Payment is processed by Stripe. We don't store your card details ourselves. Payments are charged 7 days before each scheduled shipment.
- Failed payments trigger a retry window of up to 24 hours, with an email prompting you to update your payment method. If payment can't be taken, the next cycle pauses until payment clears.
- Shipping is included in the subscription price. For one-off orders, shipping is included above £40; below that, a flat £3.50 fee applies.
7. Subscription, pause, and cancellation
- Cadence is 60 days at launch. Multi-cadence support is on the roadmap.
- Pause up to 6 months via the dashboard. Protocol and next-box date pick up unchanged on resume.
- Cancel via the dashboard in two clicks — no retention gauntlet. We'll stop charging and stop shipping. Your protocol history stays accessible; restarting is a single click.
- Compound retirement — rarely, a compound leaves our catalog (new evidence, supplier issue, or safety update). We'll email you, propose a replacement, and give you the chance to review before the next charge.
8. Your statutory rights and consumer protection
Nothing in these terms overrides your statutory rights under UK consumer law, including the Consumer Rights Act 2015 and the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013.
- 14-day cancellation right — for distance purchases under UK consumer law, you have the right to cancel most orders within 14 days of delivery. Supplements that have been opened or consumed are generally not returnable on hygiene grounds, but unopened products in original packaging can be returned for a refund.
- Damaged, missing, or incorrect items — email support@mycura.co.uk with a photo and your order number. We'll replace or credit as appropriate; you don't need to ship damaged products back.
- Description accuracy — we commit to the dose, form, and brand shown on each SKU card. If the product you receive doesn't match, that's our responsibility to put right.
9. Product quality and vetting
Every SKU we recommend is graded A or A+ on our internal Cura Grade scale (with rare B-grade exceptions where the compound itself is preliminary — flagged explicitly on the SKU card). Grading criteria are documented on our FAQ page.
We do not:
- Take affiliate commissions from brands.
- Re-rank products because one pays us more.
- Promote products for which we have financial conflicts beyond the standard retailer markup.
Our recommendation pipeline runs before any SKU mapping and has no awareness of which brand is cheaper for us.
10. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law:
- We don't accept liability for outcomes resulting from your use of supplements we've recommended where the use deviates from the protocol (higher doses, combining with undisclosed medications, continuing despite a safety-override flag).
- We don't exclude or limit liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for any other liability that cannot be limited under UK law.
- For losses we are responsible for, our aggregate liability is capped at the total amount you have paid to Cura in the 12 months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.
This section does not affect your statutory rights.
11. User-submitted content
When you use the "Suggest a product" form on any compound page, or email us feedback, you grant us a non-exclusive right to use that content to improve the Service (considering products, improving FAQ coverage, etc.). We don't publish user-submitted content with your name or identifying detail without explicit permission.
12. Intellectual property
All content on the Service — including the compound-page editorial, the FAQs, the protocol logic, and the Cura brand — is owned by or licensed to Cura Health. You may share individual compound pages or your own protocol pages for personal use (e.g. with your GP). Broader commercial reuse requires written permission.
13. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your account if:
- You breach these terms materially.
- You attempt to defraud or abuse the Service.
- Payment fails and can't be resolved after reasonable attempts.
Where termination isn't fault-based, we'll give at least 14 days' notice and refund any unused prepaid service.
14. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms over time. Material changes will be notified by email at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use of the Service after an update constitutes acceptance. The "last updated" date above reflects the most recent revision.
